The First Supper is among the most provocative works in the GODS MGMT series — a double-screen reimagining of da Vinci’s Last Supper rendered in stark gold and black, with the collective’s name emblazoned across the centre. The repetition is deliberate: two identical banquet scenes separated by a band of text, echoing Warhol’s serial logic while asserting something entirely new. The sacred becomes an advertisement. The advertisement becomes sacred.
GODS MGMT works anonymously, operating between fine art, popular culture and commercial mythology. Each canvas is a site of collision — between what we revere and what we consume, between iconography and irony.
