Stone Conversations I is the largest and most physically commanding work in the series — a 60-inch square canvas in which gestural black marks collide with a pale, near-white ground. The surface occupies the space between language and landscape, between inscription and erasure. NALEYE works the paint in horizontal movements that suggest both writing and ruin.
NALEYE works at the intersection of structure and feeling — each canvas is a site of quiet intensity, built through repetition, mark-making and the slow accumulation of form.
